About Me
I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida in the Food and Resource Economics Department. I use economic theory and empirical tools to evaluate resource management policy. My most recent work focuses on the stewardship of marine resources in the production of seafood from aquaculture and fisheries.
I received my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis in 2024. During my time at UC Davis, I was a NOAA/Sea Grant Marine Resource Economics Fellow and a trainee in the NRT Program at UC Davis entitled "Sustainable Oceans: From Science to Policy to Decisions.". I received a Master’s Degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida.
